Movie

It's been a long time since I went catch a nice movie.
Whenever there is a good movie that I wish to watch, there's always an excuse for myself to give up catching it in cinema.
But this time I am determined.

I'm never good in writing reviews.
Paris je'taime, a movie I have downloaded months ago, but left it rotten in my external hard disk.
18 short stories in the movie, directed by different directors, each expressed from different point of view.
Some of them looks plain, but will somehow touches something inside you, reminds you of something and make you feel wanna cry.
Or I was just thinking too much.

這囘 護照上多了個陌生又孤單的印章

好音樂 in::music - at17 + PixelToy @ Esplanade Recital Studio

Yeah.
Finally. A chance to witness another great concert again, since Hocc's Live in Unity 2006 (Refer to my previous post if you're interested).

This time, it's at17 that awes me. Always longing to see these 2 energetic girls on the stage performing live, with their great great vocal + great great guitar skills. Another dream-come-true. Post concert syndrome again. Haha. Too bad photography is not allowed in the theater, and they have very tight security in there. Didn't manage to take any photos/videos inside the concert venue.

in::music - at17 + PixelToy presents 2 groups. Haven't really heard of PixelToy's songs before, but their music is quite nice. This show successfully introduced me to PixelToy. :)

The crowd was a bit 'cold' at the beginning of the show, and starts to get high when PixelToy passed the stage to at17 (including me, of course :D)
We were among the first few people to enter the venue, so we get to grab first row seat, which is the same level with the so called 'stage'.
And they are just a few steps away from us. (Imagine we can even see pimples clearly on someone's face :D)

They did their famous songs like : 青春, 三分鐘后, The Best is Yet To Come, etc..
And we're lucky enough to hear 2 new songs from their upcoming mandarin album. Nice songs, I can say. And as my friend said, they're getting better in warming up the crowd.

The thing I like about this group is the strong bond between the 2 members, and together with their band. There were some situations like Ellen forgetting the lyrics, and came in with wrong key. And Eman just sing along to get them back on the track. And then the girls and the band, looking at each other, smile :)
Don't know why, those scenes touched my nerves.
You gotta have team mates that knows you very well in order to achieve this. The "chi" among each other. If you understand what I'm talking about. Ha.

This is the interesting part of watching live performances, or performing live on stage yourself. Hope you were there to see all these too.

The 90 min show is way way way too short for 2 groups. Hopefully I will have the chance to watch their full concert one day.

Bonus: To our surprise, the organizer held an autograph session after the show. We get to talk and take photos with the 2 cute girls. Some cute conversation are as below:

More Than Words

Nothing much to update.

Sitting alone in Secret Recipe as the only customer here.
People in Klang don't really come to have dinner here I guess, or they haven't come back from their hometown.
Well, none of my business.

The malay staffs here are blasting their speaker with malay rock songs.
When I wanna get out my earphone, suddenly they play this song
"More Than Words"
A song I am learning on the guitar. Well, for me, it's a tough song.
Hopefully I'm able to learn it soon.
Well, the magic power of music is, it will remind you of many things.

Gosh. Malay song is back.

As you're reading this, you might notice that I'm really too free here until I'm writing nonsense (Although I write nonsense all the time)
Yea~ I just let my mind wanders around these few days.

Sometimes you might think you are very clear with your destination, and why are you heading that way.
You might be very clear of the reason why you wanna do a particular thing.
But sometimes, on a sudden, you realize you don't know where is your location.
You start to doubt.
Doubt the reason that drives you all the time, the one which you think you're very sure about it.
Should you press Ctrl-Z to undo and turn back to the cross junction you left behind just now?
Well, now you wish someone will come down from the sky and tell you what to do.

Haha.
I'm indeed very free here.
I guess it's just me who is so indecisive.

What Chinese New Year means for me most is: it's holiday, which means more personal time to do my own stuff, and to have every family member sitting at home together.

So today I have time to do some research on a rough idea which resides in my mind for a long time. Conclusion? I really cannot deny the power of $$, although I used to think money matters won't affect me at all, I don't mind staying poor :D

Too bad the reality says aloud, "No no no, you can't do things you want without money."

Sigh.
Well, what to do? Accept the fact, and think of alternatives lo.

Haha. Shouldn't say "No money" on the first day of Chinese New Year~
